Exhilarating Cycling week at La Creuzette

Now open for reservations

Overview

Combine luxury with adventure during our exhilarating cycling week. During the day we will be out on the trails for an adrenaline rush and explosion of fresh air and in the evenings we dine formally around the La Creuzette feast tables. Our area is known for its natural beauty and the many trail routes occupied by cyclist, runners, and hikers. We will have four days where each day a different route will be planned, keeping in mind the kms versus the elevation gain. Along the way you will have beautiful views, incredible forest crossings, and some ‘on the side sightseeing’. After each morning of cycling, we enjoy a late lunch and some well deserved rest. In the evenings we will have cooking sessions, delightful dinners, and champagne cheers to celebrate the day’s efforts. There will be additional excursions during the day for partners who will not be cycling.

The cyclists joins us for a late lunch, after their morning cycle. Lunch will be enjoyed at the long stone table under the platan trees, paired perfectly with a rosé from Provence. The rest of the afternoon is at liberty or an optional visit to a magnificent garden for those who wish to join. The gardens of Prieuré d’Orsan is an old monastery where the gardens has been restored perfectly to reflect the calming and spiritual sense of a monastery garden. It is here that the idea of Babylonstoren in South Africa and later The Newt in UK has originated from. The same landscape architect that did Orsan’s gardens, designed the Babylonstoren gardens. This evening we meet for champagne in the garden, followed by our farewell dinner.
